Reading reshaped the way I think, the way I move, and the way I grow. It challenged my excuses, strengthened my confidence, and expanded what I believed was possible for my life.
Below are some of my favorite books for improving your mind, body, and all areas of life. True knowledge gains.
How to Win Friends & Influence People
If you decide to read one book your whole life, this would be the book to read. This book can single-handedly change your life for the better.
It teaches how to gain influence by making others feel valued and understood - avoid criticism, show genuine interest, listen well, appreciate sincerely, and see things from their perspective. Influence comes from empathy and respect, not force.
Seriously, go read this book and see how your relationships, life, and mentality flourish after.
A guide to the good life: The ancient art of stoic joy
This is a book I have had to re-read multiple times to root my mindset properly and transform my mentality.
The main stoic principle here is about focusing on what you can control.
It explains how Stoic philosophy can help you find lasting peace and joy by focusing on what you can control, practicing negative visualization, reducing unnecessary desires, and reframing obstacles as opportunities. By training your thoughts and expectations, you become calmer, more resilient, and less disturbed by life’s ups and downs.
The Courage to be disliked
This book really made me honestly look deep down and reflect on myself to realize what is holding me back and not allowing me to truly do what I was meant to do.
It is also free flowing very easy to read book.
It teaches that your past doesn’t define you - you choose your meaning and direction. Rooted in Adlerian psychology, it argues that happiness comes from taking responsibility for your life, focusing only on what you can control, and having the courage to live by your values even if others dislike you.
